After several complications at customs and the Rawanda-Congo border, the quilts are unpacked at the Heal Africa Hospital. There is not a word for 'quilt' in the Swahili language, so the staff throught that plain blankets were being sent. Beautiful hand-made quilts were a wonderful surprise. |
